Over the past years I have put together many a short story, which my children tell me to publish, however I am not sure if its the right time, and if anyone is interested in reading someone else’s memoirs. Therefore I have decided to get cracking with a blog or two and see how that pans out before printing any of my – very funny to the family – stories.
A dear friend, who is a blogger, has tried for months to get me started. She is going to be most pleased when she sees that I have eventually put my thoughts to the keyboard and clicked ‘publish’. To her I give half the credit, the other half I give to my brave young daughter, who after defeating the odds of a broken heart, lifted her spirits and started to blog as well. Both are formidable, talented ladies and I thank you for your motivation and support always.
Lets see where this all will lead me, and lets see how much I learn from the others with a story to tell, after all . . . . .
“After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.”
